Abeoji Sonyeoui

After the war, him and his daughter are the only surviving members of their family. They manage to get on a bus with several other people, traveling from place to place in search of safety. He is a kind man who tries to take his daughter's mind off the gloom of their new lives. He also succumbs to the infectious disease contracted from one of the passengers.
