Chrome is an artificial soldier who was part of Chalce's Movement for human rights for artificer soldiers.
He has part of Chalce's memories implanted by Chalce himself. Later he learns that Chalce implanted only happy memories inside of him and that to become human he must learn the full scope of human emotions, including sadness and ire.
