Claire Rieveldt

Captain to the Railway Military Police, a military organization reserved for the protection of the Erebonian Empire's Transcontinental Railway System. She is also a part of the Ironbloods, Chancellor Osborne's most trusted aide. It is noted that Claire has an unusual cognitive perception level, being able to grasp events and calculate it as a whole. She is a very cold and calculating character when she dons her military uniform although during a more casual setting with close acquaintances, she shows a softer side of herself.

Claire's father was the president of The Rieveldt Company, a renowned musical instrument maker. One day, her entire family got into a car accident from which she was the sole survivor. She was adopted by her uncle, who was serving as the company's vice president at the time. Although after extensive research on her end and partly due to her cognitive ability, she was able to determine the cause of the accident to be a plot by her uncle to usurp the company's president seat and sell cheap instruments under the Rieveldt name. Knowing this, she confronted her uncle about the accident. Not soon after, Chancellor Osborne reached out to her, already in the know about the whole incident. He applauded Claire for her deduction and told her that he was about to judge her uncle for the crime but ultimately changed his mind, urging Claire to take justice with her own hand, in which she eventually did. Her uncle was then sentenced to death and the ownership of the company was passed to the rightful children of the previous president. Claire ultimately left the company to a veteran employee while she follows Chancellor Osborne as one of the Ironbloods.
