Matsushita is a Judo expert. He has a well-built body and narrow eyed, which earned him the reputation of being the 'Kuma-san' or Mr. Bear. He is a level '5 dan' in Judo. It is shown in episode 12 that after several days of training in the mountains Matsushita is no longer overweight.
