Hakusan Yoshimitsu

A sword forged by Awataguchi Yoshimitsu, a swordsmith active during the Kamakura period. It was brought as part of the dowry when Ohime—the adopted daughter of Tokugawa Iemitsu—married Maeda Mitsutaka, and was subsequently dedicated to a shrine following her passing.

The sword has since taken on an even more divine lineage; Hakusan Yoshimitsu is said to possess powers of healing. He is accompanied by a white fox companion. He is fond of melons.
