Hanae Miwa is a student at Gyotoku Academy (and later, a member of the Film Studies Club) who participates in Dead Tube's initial iteration as a get-rich-quick scheme. After underestimating the lengths Dead Tube participants have to go through for their payouts, she seeks Machiya's help and eventually befriends him.
