Nie Li's uncle. Nie Kai is married to Miao Ling and is Nie Ming's younger brother by three years. He is also a farmer with a low position in the Heavenly Marks Family. He is a good nurtured, simple type person with no talent at cultivation at all.
He has a daughter named Nie Yu that has always looked up to Nie Li.
