She is a student at Sakikawa Girls' Academy and the twin sister of Tadashi Nakamura. She lives in Kamura Hall at the academy with Kurumi Kurisu as her roommate.
Kokoro was hospitalized with a broken leg and was in danger of having to repeat a year of school, so she asked Tadashi to go to school in her place.
