Leica Otonashi

A patient at Ootomi General Hospital and one of Totonou's friends. She has memorized Marcus Aurelius's Meditations and uses that as a form of code to communicate secret information. She has a younger sister named Chiyako who she cares about deeply.

Leica is actually an alter of Chiyako, who developed Dissociative Identity Disorder after experiencing prolonged abuse from her father. The name "Leica" came from a camera her father used to love. Leica initially views herself as a camera, rather than a human. However, as her friendship with Totonou deepens, her feelings and emotions begin to change and she starts to perceive herself as a human being.
