Simon's partner and a student at Konpei High. Maiko is an amicable Keeper, helping Tokio and the others when they join Yamato Mori to learn more about the world of Choujin. Tends to keep Simon's overly serious and pragmatic nature in check.
Maiko has been working as a Keeper whilst attending school since she was ten, and inherited her powers from her late father at the age of four.
