Mitsuru pilots the FRANXX Chlorophytum with Ikuno, and is part off Plantation 13.
Later in the anime, he switches partners with Futoshi, and ends up piloting the FRANXX Genista, along with Kokoro. They fall in love and Kokoro gets pregnant with his child.
