One of the 10,000 players trapped in Sword Art Online, Morte is a ruthless player-killer and sworn enemy of Kirito. Like Kirito, he is a former beta tester for the game, but rather than assist the game clearers with his knowledge, he attempts to incite conflict amongst them with the help of his fellow PKers.
