O-Gin Sakamoto

O-Gin Sakamoto is a young woman, presumably in her mid-late 20's with long dark hair and pale skin. She wears her hair up, held by a light bow (occasionally with a snakeskin pattern), and is often seen wearing lipstick and heavy eyeshadow. She is introduced in Volume 11, Chapter 102 of the Golden Kamuy manga.

O-Gin is a female criminal whose life is centered around nomadic crime, robbing and murdering with her husband, _Sakamato Keiichirou_. Based off of a real historical figure in Meiji era Hokkaido, her victims were solely travelers before joining forces with the Lightning Bandit. O-Gin's weapon of choice is a long awl, which she uses to penetrate through the back of the neck and into the foramen magnum at the base of the skull, killing her victims while avoiding a mess - she is also later observed wielding a shotgun during her time with Keiichirou.

O-Gin's nickname of The Viper stems from her full-body snake tattoo which stretches from her right arm, around the right breast and down into her navel area. In Chapter 107, after rushing to the side of the injured Keiichirou, she is beheaded by Koito Otonoshin during a counterattack against Lieutenant Tsurumi. After their deaths, it is revealed O-Gin was carrying a young Sakamoto child in her backpack. The baby was taken by the 7th Division, and left with Huci in Asirpa's Kotan.
