The Countess of the Pfaltzgraff manor. She was once a famous beauty in high society. Originally a devout believer, she cared for and loved the ailing Adrian, whom most people, including her husband, gave up. But after witnessing holy water react negatively to Adrian during a baptism, she lost her sanity, believing that the Devil itself had taken over Adrian's body.
