Rensuke Kunigami is very serious about his football career and training; he's always the first in the training room in the morning and the last to leave at night. Kunigami tends to get into arguments with Raichi, but is also the one who restrains him the most when he picks a fight with someone.
During the second selection Kunigami is eliminated from Blue Lock project, but afterwards gets a second chance through the Wild Card training
After Blue Lock vs. Japan U20 match, Kunigami gets back into Blue Lock project. His appearance changed a bit and his attitude too.
