A laid-back and polite boy who enrolled into Ninjutsu Academy as a second year after being encouraged by father, who works at Kawataredoki Castle.

Originally a main character in the 2005 remake of Amako's 1996 work *Hamuko Mairu!*, he was later adopted into both the manga and anime versions of *Rantarō*. In the latter, he first made his appearance on January 5, 2021 in the episode *Haniwa-kun Tōjo no Dan* (ハニワくん登場の段).
