Belec is a talented mage, the twin brother of Rojard Seymour, the older brother of Deborah and Enrique Seymour, and the son of Gorgias and Marian Seymour. Potential successors to the ducal Seymour family are born as twins in each generation. He is therefore in competition with Rojard since his birth for the place of head of the family.
