Shizue Satou

Yaniko and Imoko's mother. Like Yaniko, she is a heavy smoker, but maintains the appearance of no smoking in the home. For some reason, Yaniko calls her "Shizue" without any honorifics, but she doesn't get angry and dotes on Yaniko. Her husband (Yaniko and Imoko's father) is deceased, and there is a portrait of him in the house.
