A forthright twenty-year-old university student who is childhood friends with Miu, Takumi fell in love with Ayako after witnessing her declaration to adopt Miu ten years ago. Living next-door, he frequently visits the Katsuragi family and also acts as Miu's tutor at Ayako's request. After ten years of diligently keeping his love secret, he finally confesses to Ayako.
