Ursule Valois

A student at Kimberly Magic Academy in the same year as the Sword Roses. Ursule is a Valois, a powerful but harsh line of mages. As such she maintains the airs of a confident noblewoman, claiming that other human beings are merely tools or obstacles.

Ursule's attitude is later revealed to be a coping mechanism, forcing herself to believe it was her purpose to trample others in order to fulfill her family's legacy. In reality, she was a mentally unhealthy young woman with a severe case of Stockholm syndrome about the abuse she had suffered as a child. After her loss to Nanao, she gradually begins to heal and becomes friends with her.
