Real name Meryem Saner, Valentine is a prominent Turkish member of the Refugee Liberation Front (RLF), Commander of their land forces, and the big sister of Giselle Adjani. Dedicated to her ideals and willing to get her hands dirty, she was chosen to represent the refugees and be the one to issue the statement of demands to those in power. Valentine's thoughts are noticeably less radical than most of her comrades. Unlike certain other members of the RLF, however, Valentine is firm in her beliefs and that their actions will truly bring about a better future for refugees around the world.
Valentine had once been in a refugee camp in Crete, Greece, when she was saved by Doğulu, which was a great source of admiration for him. In these refugee camps, she witnessed her mother sell her body, kill people and eventually be killed to keep them fed and safe. These conditions led to her joining the RLF.
She got into Yukon Base by infiltrating as a member of the Military Police force. It is unknown when she joined.
