Yutaka or "Yuu-chan" is Tenji Mikasa's biological father. He worked as a Prosecutor, and was close friends with Wataru Sawaragi.
According to Tenji, he was kinder and smarter than anyone, and always gave him the right answer to everything. For the former, he was like a textbook.
As a policeman, he also had the qualifications of being a lawyer, being a former one. He taught Tenji about how the most important thing for a lawyer to have is "A full belief for their defendant, whatever might happen".
